Iris and Tom met cupping at the Roast Lab in Berlin. They moved to Sheffield in early 2021 with a vague plan to roast for a single café. The single café became four. The four became a Saturday market stall. The Saturday market stall became a queue down the platform.
Five years on, the same 5kg roaster runs Wednesdays from 7am. The single arch became three. The team is six. The mission hasn't changed: pay the farms more, taste the coffee carefully, never roast for volume.
